Sourdough Easter buns

OK so not hot cross buns traditionally, no crosses involved, I just cut them to rise in a cross shape.  Joey wasn't here to help me this time with the crosses.  BUT... they are proper sourdough jobs.  Leavened overnight. Properly proved.  Beautifully glazed.  The crumb is with holes which is not usual for a fully sourdough leavened sweet dough.  I am so stoked with this result.  I've yet to taste.  I'm keeping with the family tradition of Good Friday and I'm not even Christian, it's just the way we did things when we were kids.  No hot cross buns till Good Friday.
